Changing the label legend
As lighting devices are placed on the light plot, the active label legend is assigned to them by default. However, the legend can be changed for a selection of lighting devices.

To change the lighting device label legend:
Select one or more lighting devices.
Select the command.
The Assign Legend to Lighting Devices dialog box opens.
Select the new label legend for the lighting devices.
The label legend can also be changed for an individual lighting device or accessory by selecting the device, and then selecting the legend name from the Use Legend list in the Object Info palette.
Use the Find and Modify command to quickly generate a custom selection of specific lighting devices and apply the new legend to the selected devices (see Find and modify).

The 2D and 3D label legend properties from one lighting device can be copied to a selection of lighting devices, or all of the label legend properties can be changed for all selected lighting devices. This is a convenient way of obtaining a consistent label appearance for a selection of lighting devices. The changes include the position of 2D and/or 3D single label layouts, 3D label view selection, and the flipping of 2D and/or 3D label text.
To copy the label legend location properties to a selection:
Select one or more lighting devices.
Right-click on a lighting device with the desired label positions and properties, and select the command.
The Assign Legend properties to selected dialog box opens. The parameters are initially set to those of the lighting device that was clicked upon.

Simply click OK to apply the desired label properties to the selection, or make changes and then click OK to apply changes to the entire selection.
